PPT Document Format PPT Converter
Microsoft developed the PPT format for PowerPoint, which is mostly used for creating and editing presentations. PPT files normally comprise slides of text, images and animations that can play as timed or manually controlled slideshows. Users can build presentations from scratch or use an online or company corporate template. PowerPoint is the most widely used format for presentations in both educational and work settings. It can also be used for creating reports, which users often save or print as a PDF.
Since 2007, PPTX has been Microsoft’s standard file format for PowerPoint. However, even if you have a newer version of the program, you can still use it to open older PPT files, and also to save presentations into PPT format. PowerPoint is part of the Microsoft Office suite, but some other programs, like LibreOffice, Apple Keynote or Google Slides, can also open both PPT and PPTX files.

PNG Image Format PNG Converter
PNG is a common type of image file. The file extension PNG is short for ‘Portable Network Graphic’, and the format was created to offer improvements over the GIF format. Like JPG, PNG is a 2D ‘raster’ image format. However, unlike JPG, PNG files can have transparent or semi-transparent backgrounds around a design. This makes them perfect to use for company or brand logos or graphics that need to be placed in documents or over other images. They are also sometimes used for detailed graphs or diagrams online.
PNGs use lossless compression, which offers high-quality images with more colours. However, this often means PNG files are bigger than some other formats like JPG. The PNG format is open source, and you can open these files using almost all devices, image editors and viewers. Many smartphones now allow you to easily remove backgrounds and create PNGs of individual parts of photos.

An easy way of saving a PPT as an image is to use an online conversion tool like Zamzar. Simply upload your PPT file to Zamzar’s website, select an image format like PNG or JPG, and then click to convert and download your files. Zamzar will create an image file for every slide of the PPT presentation.
You can also take screengrabs of individual PPT slides using your phone or the ‘Print Screen’ button on your PC keyboard. You can then paste the image into another app, such as Microsoft Paint, to save it in the image format you want. However, you may lose resolution by using this method.
You can turn a PowerPoint into a logo by using the three-step conversion tool on Zamzar’s website. Just upload your PowerPoint file, click to convert it to PNG format and then download the new file. It’s also possible to take screengrabs of slides to save as images, or to save a PowerPoint as a PDF before turning it into a PNG. However, Zamzar’s conversion tool is likely to be quicker and give better results.
One of the quickest ways of making a PowerPoint into a picture is to use a file conversion website like Zamzar. There’s no extra software required – you just need to upload your PowerPoint to the secure tool on Zamzar’s site and click to convert it to an image format like PNG. You can then download your PowerPoint document as a picture to save on your device.
Alternatively, you could take a screenshot of your PowerPoint presentation, and then use an app like Microsoft Paint to save the screenshot as the image format you need.
A simple way to turn a PowerPoint slide into a PNG is to use file conversion software or an online tool like Zamzar. Another way is to take screengrabs, but conversion tools normally give you higher resolution images. To use Zamzar’s three-step tool, you just upload a PowerPoint presentation to the secure website, select PNG as the format to convert it to, and then download your file. You’ll get a new image file for every slide in the presentation.
PPT and PNG are different file formats, but you can create a PNG from a PPT by using an online file converter like Zamzar. Simply upload a PPT file to the three-step tool on Zamzar’s website, select PNG as the format to convert to, and then download an image file for each slide in the presentation.
You can also install software to convert files to PNG or take screengrabs of individual slides. However, as Zamzar’s conversion tool sits on a website, you don’t need any extra software or apps, and screengrabs are often lower resolution than converted images.
